They are with me and they’re heroically fab. My new GuidoMaggi shoes, the Giant Cougar along with the Munich.

A few months ago I wrote about the new sneaker range and said I would give a full report after I obtained my very own purchase. I clarified in that piece ‘private’ shoes are but also how quite demanding the wearer culture is. They just must be on fad. And I have to tell you these babies are EXACTLY RIGHT and perform the job. I waited until I had worn them several times and also to see how they felt prior to placing this all down for you — comfort? style? fashion? Basically’do they feel cool?’ .
Sneakers Must Be right
And this is only because you understand how it works with sneakers — we call them trainers in the UK — they just HAVE to be right. Virtually every other aspect of footwear can be improvised and may feature some kind of personal style or compromise with fashion. With trainers, probably because of the massive amounts spent on branding, it’s quite much IN or OUT. A style feels trendy or it seems done with.
And I must tell you it is the ONLY time I’ve ever thought in advance when buying elevators:”will they be correct? Will I be cool with them?” Before I received them. Will they seem out of place?” I told you in my previous cautious piece how it had taken me several years.
Right on trend
And allow me to inform you that my two new pairs from the guys at GuidoMaggi — I’ve the Giant Cougar as well as the Munich fashions — are just completely fab. I can not tell you just how much I’m into them and how they have rounded off my footwear collection. I have no doubts at all, especially after wearing them on a few occasions.
This is the secret. And the Munich are a kind of lower key but identifying’class’ coach that goes with black jeans and even the really skintight spray-on skinnies I love to wear. And they have the fantastic sense of a high brand, nicely made and distinctive but not stand-out unusual which often looks not quite right with shoes or as if you’re looking too hard and spending too much simply to look hip.
Now I am so used to adding 6″ in height through my Hong Kong boots (along with my Shanghai I guess ) that I braced myself for the inch that I might lose but it seemed to make hardly any difference.
4″ (10cm) — you’d never guess You could never in a thousand years inform that you were adding 4″ (10cm). Never. And I wore my Giant Cougar with the extra cm going around at the daytime and not just do they actually add the height however they feel just completely 100 percent’normal’ which is exactly what you want with sneakers. Along with the relaxation.
With sneakers I’d spent a long time for well over a decade sometimes wearing thembut your customary brands together with my added lifts — the max you might add was two” and if you weren’t careful it would seem not quite right — your heel too high inside them . In these GuidoMaggis kinds, the design and structure are both built to include that in and look totally normal. My job — I run nightclubs — makes it unusual not to wear shoes and I have frequently thought wistfully”wish I could get my 4″+ out of the most recent brands”. Now I have pairs to wear and it has rounded off my footwear actual well. They’re well worth the investment — and do not wait all of the years I did.
